Meydan Free Zone Partners with APPSGATE to Offer Odoo ERP Discounts to License Holders

Meydan Free Zone has formalised a partnership with APPSGATE, an authorised Odoo partner in the UAE, giving license holders discounted ERP implementation and a free gap analysis.

Meydan Free Zone has announced a formal partnership with APPSGATE Information Technology, an official Odoo partner in the UAE, to give its business license holders preferred access to Odoo ERP services. The arrangement is straightforward: licensed Meydan entities can receive up to 20% off Odoo ERP implementation, 15% off fixed-scope Odoo packages, 15% off annual support contracts, and a complimentary gap analysis consultation. Standard terms and conditions apply to all discounts.

Odoo is an open-source business management platform with reportedly more than 13 million users worldwide, covering modules such as accounting, sales, CRM, inventory, and HR. APPSGATE positions itself as the implementation layer — handling configuration, user training, go-live support, and ongoing monitoring — rather than a software vendor. The partnership is scoped specifically for Meydan Free Zone license holders; the discounts are not available to businesses licensed elsewhere.

What this means for our clients

For founders we work with who are setting up or already licensed in Meydan Free Zone, this is a practical cost-reduction on a category of spend — ERP implementation — that can otherwise run to significant sums. The free gap analysis in particular is a low-risk starting point: it maps current operational inefficiencies before any commitment to software spend. We would encourage clients to treat it as a diagnostic tool rather than a sales call, and to assess whether Odoo's module set aligns with their specific workflows before signing any support contract.

It is also worth noting that the partnership reflects a broader pattern we are seeing across UAE free zones: bundling value-added services — software, compliance tools, banking introductions — with the underlying license. These arrangements can reduce early-stage overhead, but the right ERP system ultimately depends on business size, sector, and integration requirements. We recommend mapping those variables before selecting any package.

The full details of the offer, including applicable terms and conditions, are published on the Meydan Free Zone website at meydanfz.ae. If you would like to discuss whether a Meydan Free Zone license is the right structure for your business before exploring the ERP benefits, we are happy to walk through the options in a Sirius consultation.
