This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for services provided by SIRIUS CONSULTING L.L.C-FZ ("Sirius Consulting", "we", "us"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service and your specific engagement.
Service fees vs third-party fees
Our fees pay for our advisory and processing work. Government, free zone, bank, attestation, medical, and other third-party charges are separate. Once a third-party fee has been paid to the relevant authority or provider on your behalf, it is set by that third party and is generally non-refundable to us, and therefore cannot be refunded by us.
Before work begins
If you cancel before we have started substantive work on your engagement and before any third-party fees have been incurred, you are entitled to a refund of service fees paid, less any non-refundable costs already committed and a reasonable charge for time spent.
After work has begun
Once work is under way, refunds of service fees are assessed on the basis of the stage reached and the work completed. Fees for milestones already delivered are non-refundable. Where part of the engagement has not yet started, the unstarted portion may be refundable, less committed third-party costs.
Rejections and delays by authorities
Because approvals are made by government authorities, free zones, and banks, a rejection or delay by them is not a basis for an automatic refund of our service fees, as our work to prepare and submit your application has been performed. Where reasonably possible, we will instead help you re-apply or pursue an alternative route.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email ceo@sirius-consulting.ae with your name, the service concerned, and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days and to resolve them promptly.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method where possible. The time to receive funds depends on your bank or payment provider.
